It's Summer in Earthrealm, however, the forces of the Chaos Realm are advancing an invasion.
Special Forces, Elder Gods and Lin Kuei assemble to fight the forces of Chaos Realm before the invasion begins.
CHAOS REALM INVASION
How it works is the Invasion will consist of a single fight battle against a challenger and a Chaos Realm boss. The challenger will take on the boss in a head to head fight. Defeat the boss and the earth will be saved.

Tremor
Much had changed since the Black Dragon's excursion to the dream realm, Kano had sent Tremor's team there to expose a 'psych bomb' to be used in Kano's theft of Shinnok's amulet. Exposure to that realm had increased Tremor's power - and expanded his mind. Now evolved into an earth elemental, Tremor is a demi god who possess the powers of the earth, which bend to his might and will. He will use his new found power to crush and destroy his opposition as easily as swatting a fly. Let's Rock!
So that's who the challenger will be facing for this year's Summer Invasion challenge.
But what exactly is this I hear you ask? Basically, it's not like the other faction invasions that you would normally face in the game. I thought of this idea as a bit of fun when coming up with ideas to do something for the holidays for Mortal Kombat to do a sort of mock invasion. By that I mean simply just play a single fight round on a higher level of difficulty than I'm used to playing.
This is to just avoid any confusion, for those of you thinking that there's going to be this updated invasion in the game for the Summer. There isn't.
The Invasion boss fight will take the place on the usual Let's Play Mortal Kombat videos that I have been doing these last few months on Friday 21st July. This Summer challenge I have set myself will hopefully be a recurring thing, where they will be an invasion at the end of each series of Mortal Kombat videos from a different threat from a different realm.
This will also finish off my Mortal Kombat videos for Season 3. But never fear, Mortal Kombat videos will resume in September 2017.
