Mortal Kombat XL : Kitana Variations

Kitana

Unlock and play as the many versions of princess Kitana. And here's how you do it.

1. Normal Kitana

This variation of Kitana is available for you to play in the game straight away, you don't need to do anything to unlock this variation. It's there for you ready to go. Available in her three variations of Royal Storm, Assassin, and Mournful as are in all her other costumes, and all of these have different advantages and disadvantages playing as.

 2. Tournament Kitana

This variation of Kitana can be unlocked in the Krypt or by winning a Klassic Tower with Kitana at any mode of difficulty. Other than her revenant skin, I tend to play in her tournament version most often as I find her particularly sexy.

3. Revenant Kitana

To get Revenant Kitana you need two hundred and fifty points playing online in King of the Hill matches. When every match is over, you then have the option to pay your respects. Just give every player ten points each, and you'll be done in twenty-five matches. It's quite straightforward and easy. You don't need to win the matches, you just need the points.

4. Dark Empress Kitana

I don't remember how I unlocked this version of Kitana, to be honest with you, I just unlocked her. But from what I hear online is to get her dark empress skin you need to complete a premium tower with Goro. Which is the Netherrealms studios way of ensuring you buy that character in order to get her. But it can also be unlocked randomly.

5. Jingu Kitana

Jingu Kitana is part of the Samurai battle pack, which includes this version of Kitana along with a Samurai Shinnok and Ronin Kenshi. The pack is priced £3.75 and can be purchased on the PlayStation store via the Mortal Kombat game. It's a really cool variation of Kitana and I like it a lot.

6. Klassic Kitana

Finally, we have Klassic Kitana which can be unlocked by accessing a link between the mobile app and your PlayStation. It's very easy what you do.

Step 1 - Download the MKX Mobile app onto your iPhone or tablet.

Step 2 - Once you've downloaded the app, open it and create a Warner Brothers play account.

Step 3 - Once you've made a WB play account sign into Warner Brothers play using the login you've just created on your PlayStation.

Step 4 - Once the link is made between your phone and the PlayStation, you're treated to thirty-five seconds of things unlocking and it's brilliant. You not only get klassic Kitana but you get loads of other cool mobile unlocks of character skins and icons amongst other stuff. And you once everything is unlocked you can delete the app if it's taking up too much of your storage space.

That concludes how to unlock all six variations of Kitana.

I hope you've found this blog useful to you. If you have all these versions already then reading this has probably been a waste of your time which I apologize for. If you don't have any other versions of Kitana apart from her first one, then now you know how to unlock different versions of her and you can have more fun and keep playing the game.

Which version is your favourite? Leave me a comment and let me know. I personally like her Revenant skin the best, and Tournament is good too.

Thanks for reading and I shall be back next time with another Mortal Kombat XL Character variation review.
