Hey everyone!
This has been very late coming seeing as we're half way through into the season, but if you didn't know it already Kombat League Season 15 - The Season of Saurian Rebirth is under way running from the 20th October through to 17th November.
This season gives players of Mortal Kombat 11 on Xbox, PlayStation or PC to earn exclusive rewards and gear pieces for characters in the game, as well as that they get the chance to compete for some new Reptile skins for: Jade, Kung Lao, Noob Saibot and Scorpion.
These are skins up for grabs this season:
SCORPION: Deadly Hybrid and Stinging Bite skins
NOOB SAIBOT: Death's Head & Lethal Bite Skins
KUNG LAO: Komodo and King Cobra Skins
JADE: Khameleon & Lizard Green Skins
As you can see they all look amazing and I'm there's going to be plenty of people wanting to get their hands on these skins and have them as part of their collection.
Before I show you the board for this season, let's take a quick look at the Kombat kard backgrounds and icons.
And now I suppose you want to know how you can go about getting these skins.
You have to compete in a series of online ranked matches versus other players to earn kombat points, the more kombat points you earn the higher you'll climb up the ladder.
But be aware that the higher up the ladder you climb, the harder the game gets so that's just something to bare in mind.
THE LADDER AND SKIN REWARDS
Scorpions skin can be earned by completing a series of challenges on the right hand side of the kombat league menu, there are five challenges in total, but for every challenge you complete you earn other rewards like brutalities or gear pieces. You get the skin once you've ticked off all the challenges.
Noob's skin is Apprentice rank and above meaning you only have to play one match and regardless of the result you'll earn the skin at the end of the season.
Jade's skin is at Champion rank and above which means if you want her skin you have to finish the season at Champion rank or higher.
Kung Lao's skin is at Demi God rank and above which means you'll have to work your way up to the top three ranks to stand a chance of earning his skin at the end of the season.
I'm only interested in the Jade skin, having said that I was surprised to see Noob Saibot at Apprentice rank considering he was at Demi God last time he featured in a Kombat League set. After seeing Jade in the Apprentice rank three season's in a row she's been in, one would expect to see that recurring pattern, but not this time it would seem.
I am pleased however to see Kung Lao at the top as it means I don't have to go all the way to Demi God this around which is great for me. Demi God is a difficult rank to achieve but doable. I think this season though I'm happy with just getting three skins and glad I can stop at Champion.
I think we're going to see a lot of Scoprions and a lot of Kung Lao players this season with Kung Lao being Demi God and Scorpion being the challenge skin.
I'm averaging Warrior rank at the moment, so I'll need to put in some good hard work to stand a chance of finishing at Champion rank or higher at the end of the season.
As well as that when this season finishes, not only will we have new skins but new characters as on the 17th November when this season ends, Kombat Pack 2 will be released featuring Rambo, Rain and Mileena as well as a brand new skin pack. Exciting times ahead to keep us going until Christmas.

Apprentice: 0 - 500 points
Kombatant: 500 -1000 points
Warrior: 1000 - 1500 points
Champion: 1500 - 2000 points
Master: 2000 - 2500 points
Grand Master: 2500 - 3500 points
Demi God: 3500 - 4500 points
God: 4500 - 5500
Elder God: 5500 points and above
