DOCTOR WHO - AUDIO ADVENTURES
SERIES 4: OCTOBER 2020
Hello everyone,
Welcome to another blog post. It's been a while since my last update on my Doctor Who Audio Adventures series. I'm pleased to say that Series 4 of the Audio Adventures is in production and will be starting again on my YouTube channel on Saturday 17th October.
Ten episodes are lined up for this series, with a two part series finale.
The series will start on the 17th October and finish on the 26th December 2020.
There will be no Christmas special this year. I know I keep promising a special and don't deliver however my focus is to get the series out there and so don't have the time to do ten episodes and a Christmas special. So no Doctor Who Christmas Special, sorry.
I'm also pleased to say that something that will be different about series four in comparison to the other three series previous is that they'll be a story arc weaved in.
I haven't had much experience in writing story arcs (I'm no Russell T Davies) but they'll be certain connections between the stories and certain characters in their journey throughout the series which I hope you'll enjoy exploring. Also there are stories which I've wanted to see continue sort of like a trilogy or a next chapter if you like, so we'll be seeing a sequel to other stories that have come before in the audio adventure series.
It'll also be the start of building up to something big coming in the next few years, I don't want to say too much but I hope you will like the conclusion when we get to it.
Even though this is a project I've been putting on and off, it's not a project that's left me completely, I keep leaving and coming back to it. Each time I do this, I have different thoughts and views and ways in which I'd like to approach it.
It's something I enjoy doing as a hobby and haven't done much creative writing in a long time. It's been nice to get back into this and revisiting it and exploring various ideas and stories still left to tell.
It will also be my opportunity to tie up the companions stories and bring them to a natural end. Series 4 will see the end of Pip and Kara as they'll both be written out at the end of this series.
A full episode guide will be released later in the week, so keep an eye out for that and I'll be in touch again when there's a new update.
