THE CHASE
SERIES 8
Hi everyone.
This is just a quick notification post because I've had a few messages come through this week from people who watch my videos after I uploaded a recent Chase video. "Is there going to be a Chase series 8?", "Are you doing any more chase videos?", "Is this a new series?"
And I thought I might address this by answering people's questions. I have recorded fifteen new chase episodes and a Christmas special earlier this year. I have no idea when they are going to be uploaded because my main focus has been on concentrating on my Doctor Who audio adventure series.
I need to finish off Series 7 of The Chase as I have one more show to edit and upload and then that series is done. I can't start Series 8 until Series 7 is finished and it's likely that Series 8 will be the last series of Chase videos that I do on the app. I feel that now is a good time to stop, and it's come to a point where my interest in doing these videos has decreased, I don't really watch The Chase on TV anymore. I only really watch The Celebrity Chase but not much else. I don't watch the daytime show, the family show is okay, but is a bit lacklustre compared to the celeb shows. Probably because the family chase shows are not filmed in front of an audience, there is something more to the Celeb chases in that the audience feel part of the game and it makes the show all the more exciting because of that.
So yes, there is going to be one more series of Chase videos. I have filmed sixteen shows (fifteen normal ones and a Christmas show) Series 8 is in the can, but as of a release date for when the first episode will go out is yet to be confirmed.
