Good news! - After the rumours circulating this week of no Series 12 until 2020, Starburst Magazine have contacted the BBC for more information and Starburst have revealed the BBC’s response... “We were told that Series 12 went into production this week and that it will definitely be broadcast next year, as part of the autumn 2019 TV schedule.” We’ve also heard the BBC plan to restore Doctor Who back to its Christmas Day slot for Christmas 2019, meaning we could be seeing the return of the Christmas Specials after all!
Overall, it seems there could be lots to look forward to in 2019 for Doctor Who, with a New Year’s Special to begin the year, Series 12 in Autumn 2019 and a potential Christmas Special on Christmas Day 2019! What are your thoughts?
