The Daleks! The Doctor's worst enemy and the most successful villains in Doctor Who's long 52 year history. I thought I'd countdown through 5 of some of the best Dalek moments. See if you agree or disagree with my choices.
Number 5 : "Dalek" 2005 - "You would make a good Dalek."
I've always liked this scene on the basis of the fact of what it stands for and how it stands out. How The Doctor's attitude is just like 'Oh you have no point of existing why don't you just go and kill yourself'. and the Dalek just says to him 'you know what, you're actually just like me aren't you?' and that is the worst thing to be told by something you hate.
Number 4: "Genesis of the Daleks" 1975 - The Daleks exterminate Davros.
This is a turning point, right at the end of the story where Davros believes he holds all the cards and then everything is flipped on its side and he is completely surprised that his own creations turn on him and you just think 'woah, I didn't see that coming' and since Davros isn't a Dalek, as soon as they believe they can manage without their creator... they killed him.

Number 3: "The Evil of the Daleks" 1967 - "I will not be your slave".
The Daleks are force of power which is not be reckoned with, as The Second Doctor is about to find out. I always liked the premise of 'Evil of the Daleks' and it really goes to show the calculation and planning and experimentation in daleks to try new things and how cataphoric it would be if that plan succeeded. It makes the imagination real with the possibilities.
Number 2: "Remembrance of the Daleks" 1988 - Dalek Civil War .
It was Doctor Who's 25th Anniversary. John Nathan Turner the Producer had said and I quote "I want the series to start with a bang" and what better way to do that then have your favourite enemies try to destroy each other. The Dalek civil war thing is something that has been going on throughout the 80's period. I love Remembrance so much. It's f**king awesome! All the visual effects and explosions are incredible and you watch this scene and you'll understand why.
Number 1: "Remembrance of the Daleks" 1988 - The Special Weapons Dalek.
The Special Weapons Dalek, its the only Dalek in the history of the show that doesn't speak. But it doesn't need to in order to show off a dramatic impact. It just has to appear and blow stuff up in order to show of the sheer might and power it has. Its a big powerful, tank of a Dalek and the weaponry and power of it is just amazing. Watch it make a dramatic entrance.
