COMING SOON... Doctor Who - The Sands of Death

THE SANDS OF DEATH, Starring Colin Baker. Coming Soon... Saturday the 1st of November 2014.

The next adventure coming up this Saturday is a Sixth Doctor story which see's the Sixth Doctor and Kerry confronting a complication within a planet's time stream. They arrive on the planet Dios in the 43rd century. Only to find the planet a decreased waste land, only to return and to the planet earlier on this time in the 42nd century. It is in the 42nd century The Doctor learns of an genesis pattern happening which could treaten the fate of all life should time continue to run its course.

It's very different to any other 6th Doctor story, I have done in the past. Colin's character has mellowed a lot in this story and understands the danger to the human race as well knowing the fine balance of what points in time are in flux and what points in time are fixed. And what happens on Dios in the 42nd century, must always happen... which is what? ...  you'll find out on Saturday.

The Chase PREVIEW : Lighting Tests 26th of Oct

Hey Guys

Just a quick preview, giving you an ideal insight into the lighting tests done during the post production of tonight's episode of The Chase which is available to watch on my Channel now.

Lighting is a simple and vital key to the success of the cut, because it allows of light and how dark something is in the control of picture post. Lighting is a simplicty of adjusting the frequency when coming down to do the editing of knowing where to cut, what areas need to be shaded, what areas need to be highlighted.

As an example here is an exclusive preview.

Stay tuned for more exclusive content, coming up soon.

Doctor Who Trailer : Flatline

So Doctor Who Flatline is set to broadcast on BBC One and BBC One HD on Saturday the 18th of October at 8.25pm, proceding of course after Strictly Come Dancing, the show which will go out before Doctor Who.

I'm interested, indeed fansinated by 'Flatline' on the basic premise of the fact that I know nothing about it. To my knowledge this was a story I was unaware of, from what I have read in the Radio Times/ DWM about it, the synopsis didn't give too much away as to what the episode was actually about.

I have no idea what this is about or what I'm going to think of it. I'm guessing the only way I am going to find out is to watch it on Saturday and wait and see.

I just wanted to share with you two trailers I thought might be of interest to you. The 'Next Time' trailer which was added on at the end of 'Mummy on the Orient Express' and the BBC One Trailer.

Both very different and provide an insight as to what to expect, coming up in the episode. From what I can gether it's another episode about Clara. What I'm worried about is it seems like another episode dedicated to Clara, and The Doctor is very much in the background. The show is called 'Doctor Who' after all.

Anyway here is the BBC One Trailer for 'Flatline'

The Chase - Specials : Series 4 (October - December)

Hi All

So another series of The Chase has come to an end. But don't worry it's only a matter of short time before the next series of episodes is set to start. More Chase is on the way!

And quite a line up of episodes I've got planned too. There is quite a bit lined up, but all for the satisfaction of my subscribers, hopefully. But let me know what you want out of these videos. If there is any suggestions you think can help make it better, let me know, send me a message. I will get back to you. I am under going changes with this series all the time so It's nothing new. I am welcome to constructive feedback.

So here is a sort of guide to what is coming up.

The series will continue late October and hopefully run through to early December so that will be 8 - 10 episodes in a space of 8 - 10 weeks. It will be the same old spiel where I record the episode, according to my filming schedule and I will edit the episodes accordingly following that on. So each episode will go on my channel week by week, as for dates, I can't say as of yet, but I will get round to it.

Doctor Who AFA : Destiny to Infinity

A look into the up coming Doctor Who Action Figure Adventures, coming soon on my channel this autumn.

Just a quick update to say that filming for projects should start proper next week for a run of stories to finish off the Doctor Who run for the rest of this season.

It's mainly Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker stuff, but at the end of November is a special treat for you, just to take a breather. It's a dabue doctor story with Colin Baker, four part serial written by myself. 'Phantasmagoria'. What's it about? You'll find out. But today I'd like to talk about 'Destiny to Infinity'.

Destiny to Infinity is the one of two fourth doctor stories set up for the autumn/winter season. In terms of coming up with story concepts for new adventures. The Input that I had the idea in my head for this was along the lines of The Doctor being somewhere before, and has made a tremendous impact on the civilization of the Eco-colony and a tremendous impact it was because he comes back with Leela and as time evolved he is worshiped as a god. But is it a good thing or is it a bad thing?

"Synopsis"

The Doctor takes Leela to the planet Dowlas, for an educational trip to show her one of the most Eco-friendly, successful colony only to find that the planet's ecological climate has shifted slightly, and has resulted in the planet becoming a dececrated Ice waste land. The Doctor's curiosity grows when he realises that the eco-colony worship a great god in the form of the statue like The Doctor.

In the mines of the planet, the work force have become slaves to this god. In the image of The Doctor, known only as the mysterious 'Infinity'. Infinity is the commander of the Minions who control the slave force underneath the catacombs of Dowlas.

For the first time in his life. The Doctor confronts 'Infinity' in order to correct a mistake he made when he was on Dowlas before. A very long time ago.

"Writers Notes"

It may interest some of you to know that I actually had the orginal outline idea for 'Destiny to Infinity' back in October 2013, orginally scheduled to go into production by December 2013. Sadly that didn't happen and 'Dalek Wars' took its place. Which wasn't a bad story, it was very well recieved and It's a nice two parter.

Orginally I wanted to create a new 'fourth doctor' enemy for Tom's Doctor to face, only to have the story end with a question mark over what this enemy 'Infinity' was and why it was there. And that there would be a further problem for the doctor to solve and things for him to find out in a later story.

And one day when I was developing 'Sylvester McCoy - Seventh Doctor' stories, I saw that as my oppertunity to fit in the sequel. but more on that another time.

As far as story goes when I was writing 'Destiny to Infinity' along with two close friends James Morrison and Dan Cooper, we had watched various Tom Baker stories in his early days, especially ones with Leela just to get an understanding of the sort of season 14/15 time for reference. Belive me references do help when clueless about writing a new story.

The story may seem a bit difficult to follow, there are a lot of loose ends in this. I admit that this is a story you will have to actually sit down and watch. It's not something you can just click the play button and enjoy no matter what mood you're in. It's a thinking one this one. So thinking caps on guys. Just giving you a heads up!

"Phantasmagoria"

A look into the up coming Doctor Who Action Figure Adventures, coming soon on my channel this autumn.

I apologise that things have been a bit quiet recently, I've to find time and money into getting new filming equipment, It's sorted out now, I hope and filming should start proper next week for a run of stories to finish off the Doctor Who run for the rest of this season.

It's mainly Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker stuff, but at the end of November is a special treat for you, just to take a breather. It's a dabue doctor story, four part serial written by myself. 'Phantasmagoria'. What's it about? I hear you ask, well I will give you a bit of an update about it.

"Synopsis"

The Doctor has regenerated and Kerry can't believe it. In fact, she doesn't. How can this be, the man she's known to be this charming, sweet, kind person to die and change his face right in front of her. It's a lot to take in when you think about it.

The Doctor has gone a bit gaga, and is very unstable. Which doesn't help matters when the TARDIS goes spiralling out of control, and Kerry has lost control of the TARDIS. With little help from the doctor, Kerry needs to try and find help herself. The only way she can do that is to lock the TARDIS co-ordinates onto the nearest possible planet's gravitational alignment. Which so happens to be Earth 1984.

Kerry tries to help the new doctor as best as she can, but The Doctor is some what confused by his new personar. He can't belive that it's him, a bitterness comes out in him which Kerry has never seen before which in turn doesn't play well in Kerry gaining faith in The Doctor.

A Time Apocalypse collapses in on it's self, allowing The Doctor and Kerry to confront a deadly energy demon hiding out on Earth regaining strength by feeding off the life force of others. The creature then takes an advantage of a time lord being on earth and decides to steal the Doctors remaining 8 lives.

"Writers Notes" - So what did I do to come up with this story? Well obviously I watched 'The Twin Dilemma' and Colin's performance in that. Thought I don't like The Twin Dilemma so much, It helped me a lot in recognising the comparison between Peter Davison's Doctor and Colin Baker's Doctor, in four episodes.

The Show changes as The Doctor changes. The Twin Dilemma did open a new door for Doctor Who and introduced a loud, colourful and bold doctor in the form of Colin Baker who is very theatrical and enunciates a lot of the time. He knows he's the cleverest man in the room and he will stop at nothing to prove that everyone else is stupid. What I love about Colin Baker's doctor is the sense of challenge. I feel challenged when I watch him. I bring this characteristic out in my own stories as well.

Phantasmagoria is a good story, I'm really happy with the out come and effort and planning that went into it. It will be interesting to see what you viewers have to say about it.
