Episode Guide

1. The Vampire of Gralstead

The Doctor inadvertently lands the TARDIS on Earth in the time of the late 18th and early 19th century during regency era. The Doctor and Pip arrive in Gralstead manor house. Owned by the proprietor Mr H. J Grantham. Mr Grantham is an undertaker and owns a very wide range of valuable and unique antiques some of which haven't been developed on earth yet. As the mystery grows more and more, Pip discovers that Grantham is keeping an alien locked in his cellar which feeds on its victims - a vampire. 

2. The Mark of Edrin

The Shataran Empire was once a loving and united empire full of peace and prosperity, but that was to change following the death of the King Ash. Now under the rule of a new King Zara Kahn, rebellion has broken out against the new king's decision to hold a referendum to join the galactic federation rather than create a free Shataran Empire. The rebels hold a weapon unlike anything ever seen before, a gold talisman with a centre jewel that a special alien power. It is enough that they possess it, the power the talisman possess turns the tide in their favour. The king grows desperate and those caught in the middle of conflict pay the price.

The Doctor, Pip and the Kahn must take back the talisman before the power grows further and corrupts the whole of the planet into darkness.

3. The Cyber Initiative

The Doctor and Pip come face to face with an alien cybernetic life form with the intent on destroying all insufficient life. On the planet of Juno, the people of colony 9 are about to witness and fear the cyber initiative. 

4. The Stone of Arkharren

Earth 1892, Victorian London. The Doctor and Pip arrive in Cryton Manor house owned by the departed Mr Cryton who died recently, the inheritance of the house Mr Kerrington Smithe is the new owner of the house. Horrors old and new await the Doctor and Pip amongst the peculiar residents of the manor house. A soul-stealing monster lurks in the shadows and grows forever stronger. But has this to do with an old stone from the Aztec era? The answer lie within The Stone of Arkharren.

5. Masquerade

Air Date : 3rd February 2017

1922. Mr and Mrs Vincent Darrell hold the most extravagant parties but do not participate in them. There is much mystery behind it, after residing in a small cottage next to the mansion owned by the Darrell's, The Doctor and Pip finally get an invitation to one of their parties. Once inside The Doctor really gets to work in finding out what is going on.  While Pip unfortunately gets caught up in a rather sadistic scheme. It's going to be a night full of surprises. 


6. The Eye of Harmony

The TARDIS comes under attack by an entity of pure dark energy, although the invader is successfully repelled, The Doctor decides it's a good idea to go back to Gallifrey and tell the time lords about it. The Timelords accuse the doctor as the one of creating the dark energy and sentence him to death. It seems there is a more powerful being creating the dark energy and wishes to frame the Doctor for it. The clock ticks as Pip must do what she can to save her friend from impending doom and defeat the evil that lies within. 

7. Return to Earth

The Doctor and Pip arrive in Stockbridge where The Doctor is reunited with an old friend. Kara Connor. It's been a long time since they have seen each other and Kara thought she would never see the Doctor again. When the Doctor and Pip stumble across into her life, Kara is happily married and is carrying her second child. The reunion is interrupted by some uninvited guests who plan to destroy earth. Can the doctor save the planet from extinction? 

8. Time and the Vixen

Air Date : 24th February 2017

After foiling her last scheme, the Vixen plans to get revenge on the Doctor. She sets a trap for him by leaving him a fake distress signal to lead the TARDIS to land on the planet Juno. Thinking that there is someone in distress, the Doctor, Kara and Pip set off onto the planet surface only to find that they have walked straight into a big trap. Will the Vixen get her revenge? or will the Doctor outsmart her?

9. Order of the Shkect

Air Date : 3rd March 2017

The Doctor, Pip and Kara arrive on a planet with a cathedral on the top of a hill belonging to these ben sheui monks. The ben sheui monks are of a Buddhist origin. In the cathedral lies a dark magic of which no one can possibly comprehend. The Doctor gets possessed by this magic and becomes totally immersed by the dark powers which corrupt his mind. Pip and Kara with the help of the monks must do what they can to restore the doctor's mind before the essence of the alien being that lies within him takes over everyone on the planet consuming the darkness of all minds. 

10. Colony 9

Air Date : 10th March 2017

Colony 9 faces a new ice age  when snow storms hit over the south part of the sector.  While half the team attempt to fight off the weather conditions, the other half of team are about to make a very miraculous discovery - Viking warriors embedded within the ice. When the Doctor, Pip, and Kara arrive they soon learn that the colony comes under siege from the Ice Warriors - fearsome Martians intent on conquering the planet for themselves. 

11. Generation of the Daleks

The Doctor, Pip and Kara arrive on a planet they can barely recognize. Earth, London as they no it decreased to a desolate wasteland of dust and rubble waiting to be populated by a new species, the Daleks. The Doctor soon learns that Davros didn't die when the Dalek mothership was destroyed. He survived and he is here on Earth, and Davros has got some explaining to do. 


12. The Death of Kara Connor

The Doctor has faced Fenric, an ancient evil since the dawn of time, besting him by challenging him to a game of chess. Fenric challenges the Doctor again, and rather, unfortunately, it means risking everyone he cares about, if he loses, all is lost and Fenric will reign supreme.

Doctor Who in 2017

Yes, it has come to that time where I start to talk about Doctor Who for 2017, and it's not even 2017 yet. So you're probably thinking, there are only twelve weeks of the year left and yet I'm doing a post which is me talking about next year preparations. Isn't it a bit soon for to be talking about next year? Some might argue yes, but all my stuff gets planned months in advance, so I like to keep things scheduled. It helps to be organized in terms of knowing what is happening when, and when it needs to be done by. So that being said there are six more stories left for this year, hopefully, I say hopefully because I am very busy with uni work and other work of my own so that must come first ahead of any other projects that I have got planned.

That being said, I would like to try and get some other stories done that are still on my lists of stories to complete, ideas I've got going around in my head for stories I'd still like to do. I've got lots of good ideas coming for Third and Fourth doctor stories. I want to do more with Hartnell and Troughton, I want to make use of the new Sixth Doctor figure that I've got, the new blue one from the thirteen doctors box set, new Eighth Doctor stuff, more Peter Davison stuff as well as stuff with the new doctors as well, so it all very exciting in terms content. Not to mention the Thirteen Doctors which will be happening in July with all the doctors. So when will all this be happening? when does it start? In answer to that question in what's to come it will be starting around the end of March or beginning of April. It will be around Easter time I should think. 

Which is why I thought I would lay the line out for stories coming next year. 

Doctor Who action figure adventures will start around the end of March/ beginning of April time and will run until October. I keep my fingers crossed on that one, do not just take my word for it. 

Audio Adventures, they will be coming back for a third series, with a slightly delayed start. The last two series started in January. Series Three will start in February 2017. The reason being is that the second half of Series two is about to air, and will finish around November. I've still got the Christmas show to write before I can even start on Series Three. I need to appoint writers to write stories, as well the scripts I'm writing with writers and writing by myself. It's a long process and hard work to do at times, so please be patient. Series Three will be starting in February 2017. I'm doing another twelve stories, same as this time around, and there will be more two-parters in Series Three. 

As well as that on Saturday I announced that I would like to do some more live action Doctor Who. That is all unconfirmed at the moment, right now it is just an idea I have got going in my head that I would like to do some more live action Doctor Who. Hopefully, it will happen soon, there are just a few things that I need to sort out first before I confirm things are a Yes or a No. But just keep posted with that, and keep a look out for more updates as there will be more information to come. I'll keep posting weekly updates on where I am with stuff.

Apart for that, that is really all I can say right now. I haven't released any schedules or titles for stories because I need to fit everything according to the dates I have in my calendar.

Live Action Projects - Doctor Who & Sherlock Holmes

In July 2016, I did a question and answer session video, one of those questions was "What's in store from DANBURY Productions in the future?" and I said hopefully more live action dramas. I want to hold off from doing action figure stuff and make room for more live action stuff. 

Though this isn't anything official, in 2014 I released a live-action Doctor Who adventure - "The Android Invasion of Earth" and always looked back on it thinking - this was good, but I could always do better, and now I feel like I can do better and want to better. Which is why I want to do some more live action Doctor Who for a start. Nothing's official at this stage. I'm just putting it out there to say that this is something that I am interested in doing. 

However, with the idea in works that I would like to do some more live action Doctor Who there are few things that need to be considered, a few walls blocking my way and once I get passed those walls and solve those problems, then we should be good to go. I need to come up with story ideas, write the scripts, and then most importantly find people who are interested in doing it. All of those things can prove very difficult to do, the task is challenging but not impossible. The main issue which can make or break a drama of any kind is whether you cast it right and find the right people willing to do it. I think if I can get that more or less right, I'm pretty much there.  

A live action series would really be up my street, especially when you look at things like 

Doctor Who: The Classic Series Regenerated. If you haven't watched the trailer I suggest you do, it's on YouTube you can search for it, it's really easy to find. So an idea is out there that I wish to do it, the project is just starting to come to fruition. Keep an eye out for more updates very soon.

As well as that there is a matter of Sherlock Holmes as well, this is something I feel could work as a live- action drama and on audio. Like I do with my Doctor Who Audio Adventures, Holmes could make the microphone as it were and be on audio as well as live action. 

I'm a massive fan of crime thrillers and detective stories and Holmes is just the classic representation of crime thrillers and detective stories. I'm talking about the classic cases with Basil Rathbone playing Sherlock Holmes. The case is on, see if he can solve it. So keep a look out for mysteries and adventures to come with Sherlock Holmes. And if you haven't read or listened to the books I suggest you do.

COMING THIS CHRISTMAS : The Rani, Terileptil, Santa and more!

Yes. It's a little early for me to dropping the Xmas bomb upon you all, however I thought I might like to give you all a little update on the Doctor Who Audio Adventure Christmas special for 2016.

As I mentioned in my last update the Rani would be returning. And it has always been my idea that if I was ever became show runner I would cast Keeley Hawes as the Rani. She just seemed like an ideal choice of casting for that particular character, to me personally some other people may disagree with me. The Rani will be a key involvement in the special as the main villain.  

And she's not the only thing that's returning - the Terileptils are back, from The Visitation a fifth doctor story from 1982. I can't give away too much of their involvement but all I can tell you is they will be a supporting role in the episode/

As well as all of that, as if things couldn't get any better  Santa Claus will also be in it as well. So so far that's a renegade time lord, monsters from the 1980's and father christmas all jam packed into one episode. It's going to one christmas cracker this year. 

I can't give too much away about the storyline at this stage because I don't wish to spoil anything. Just  keep a look out for anymore update later to come and also count the days until christmas. There's only 81 days until Christmas.
